December 2008
On behalf of the Administration, faculty and staff, you are wished a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and peace filled New Year. I never get tired of saying how blessed we are to be in the school community of St. Thomas the Apostle, whether you are a member of the faculty, a parent or a student. Each day is a joy to see the children grow and develop with academic enrichment, spiritual fulfillment and social encounters. The dedicated faculty provides the stimulus.
Our wish for the New Year is to see more members of our parent population become involved as homeroom parents, lunch time aides, coaches, and helpers throughout the school. This is a great way to meet other parents and help the school where your children thrive each day. The New Year brings the new Knights Armor line of clothing, which will be presented at the Catholic Schools Week Open House on January 25. The plans for the “Knight to Remember” Gala, scheduled for March 7, continue to grow with the many gift gathering get-togethers. These gatherings are a terrific opportunity to get to know each other and support our school. Look for tickets to be on sale soon for the Gala.
We will celebrate Catholic Schools week, January 25-30. Look for a detailed list of events and happenings to come home in the white envelope in early January.
St. Thomas the Apostle School is active seven days a week and that is exactly how it should be. Share the good news!
Together We Can,
Barbara Virga
